The part where we get to learn creative Ambrosia apple recipes crafted by award-winning Okanagan chefs. Or, the part where one Ambrosia apple fan is going to win an Okanagan getaway.

We asked top chefs in the Okanagan to develop an original recipe featuring Ambrosia apples. Boy, did they step up to the plate! We filmed them making their recipe so you could recreate the dish at home.

Here’s where you come in. We want to know which recipe you love the most. Vote for your favourite and we’ll give you a ballot to enter our contest. You could win a spring getaway to the Okanagan. The grand prize includes a 3 night stay at Delta Hotels by Marriott Grand Okanagan Resort, dinner at Oak+Cru (located in the hotel) a wine tour and $500 spending money. That’s a pretty fantastic prize, don’t you think?

As for the chefs, they’re waiting to see whose recipe will come out on top and which one of them will be crowned Ambrosia Apple Chef of the Year! Will it be Chef Adair Scott from Watermark Beach Resort in Osoyoos and his Ambrosia apple fritters with salted caramel sauce? Perhaps it will be the tasty soup from Chef Mark Filatow , owner of  Waterfront Restaurant and Wine Bar in Kelowna that takes it? Could Chef Paul Cecconi from Brodo Kitchen in Penticton win over your taste buds?  Or, maybe Chef Beth Ross from the Delta Hotels by Marriott Grand Okanagan Resort in Kelowna will take the crown with her Ambrosia apple risotto!
